Scuba diving equipment
There are a few essential pieces of scuba diving equipment
necessary for a great dive. The first piece of equipment is a mask.
Masks are important for seeing underwater. Without a mask divers would
have a poor sense of direction and the safety of each diver would be
compromised.
Snorkels are another piece of scuba diving equipment needed on every
dive. Snorkels allow the diver to breathe in shallow water or air pockets.
They usually hook onto the mask and are easy to use with just a little
practice.
Fins are the final piece of basic scuba diving equipment. When choosing
fins to wear on a dive the diver should be sure the fins are made specifically
for diving. The appropriate fins will help a diver to maneuver underwater,
as well as make it to the surface easier when the dive is over.
