Two routes, both ending with a boat to our jetty. Via Luwuk (LUW): fly in through Makassar or Palu, drive the coast road for roughly five hours to Ampana, then take the speedboat to Wakai, one and a half to two hours across open water. Via Gorontalo (GTO): fly in through Makassar or Manado, then board the overnight ferry across the Gulf of Tomini to Wakai - about twice weekly, typically Tuesday and Friday, with cabins. From Wakai a speedboat brings you to Kadidiri in around thirty minutes. Our team coordinates and arranges every leg on your behalf, so the journey is as easy and smooth as possible - just tell us your arrival.

We work on enquiry first, not instant booking. Send us your dates, how many of you are coming and whether you plan to dive, and one of the family will confirm availability personally, usually within a day. Once availability is confirmed we agree the stay and any diving with you, and only then ask for a deposit. Please do not send a deposit before you have that confirmation from us.

Your room rate covers full-board meals on the deck, house-reef access straight off the beach, the ocean café and coordination of your transfers from Luwuk or Gorontalo. Massages on the island are bookable at around Rp 200k an hour. Diving and courses are added on top at our published rates - fun dives, night dives, intro dives, and the Open Water and Advanced courses - so tell us how many dives you would like and we will price the stay as one.

Very much so - plenty of our guests never put on a tank. Kadidiri has easy snorkelling off the beach over the house reef, the jellyfish lake (numbers vary with the season), the walk over the island to Barracuda Beach, sea kayaking, a massage on the island and a full-day snorkel safari through the islands. Rooms sleep two to four and meals are shared at one long table, so families and mixed groups of divers and non-divers settle in easily.

There is power on the island and an internet connection, but out here the wifi is weak - on purpose, and by geography. Expect enough to send a message home and check a ferry, not to stream or to work a full day. Bring what you need charged, and a power bank for the crossings. Many guests find that a few days mostly off the grid is exactly the point.

We dive all year. The Gulf of Tomini shelters the Togeans and the islands sit outside the cyclone belt, so no month is unsafe to dive. The drier half of the year, roughly March to December, is the conventional season, and July to September is the driest and busiest stretch. Rain falls in every month, with January and May typically the wettest, and rough January seas can occasionally interrupt the inter-island ferries. The water stays around 28 to 30 °C year-round.
